BEHOLD
THE JUDGE
!For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son. John 5:22
Howard Barnett
God, by the mouth of his prophet Isaiah instructed his people to "wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes; cease to do evil; Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow."1 The judgement of the Lord is always just, because righteous judgement allows the church to be corrected and reproved to become the Holy Tabernacle of the living God. "Zion shall be redeemed with judgment, and her converts with righteousness."2 This cleansing, as prophesied by Isaiah, will be accomplished by the Lord with the spirit of judgement and the spirit of burning. These two anointings, symbolized by the Urim and the Thummin of the high priest in the Levitical priesthood, are part of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. Only the high priesthood under the law was permitted to enter behind the third veil, to the realm of the mercy seat. Jesus, our high priest, has already entered therein and has bid us to come to this place with him.
In this day of judgement, the "Lord of hosts shall be exalted in judgment, and God that is holy shall be sanctified in righteousness."3 "In that day shall the Lord of hosts be for a crown of glory, and for a diadem of beauty, unto the residue of his people. And for a spirit of judgment to him that sitteth in judgment, and for strength to them that turn the battle to the gate. But they also have erred through wine, and through strong drink are out of the way; the priest and the prophet have erred through strong drink, they are swallowed up of wine, they are out of the way through strong drink; they err in vision, they stumble in judgment."4 To err is to sin. The power of God is not given to make us drunken, but to become the sons of God. "But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God."5 As sons we will overcome as he has overcome and make our captain perfect through sufferings6 Our joy is like his joy and he endured the cross for joy7. We must try the spirits to make sure the ‘Him’ that we have received is Jesus. True judgement is only present when the judge is in court - you are his court. "Know ye not that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?8" ‘Reprobate’ means ‘without judgement’. The antichrist, the spirit of error and the strong delusion have taken dominion, already, in those who have erred with strong drink. He is calling himself Holy Ghost and having a wonderful time in his exalted role. Carnality is tickled pink. But the carnal mind, as well as the great imposter, will be consumed by the judgment of Jesus. "All judgement is given unto me, sayeth the Lord9". And Jesus has given his body the authority to trample the enemy under foot. Hello feet!
"How is the faithful city become an harlot! it was full of judgment; righteousness lodged in it; but now murderers. Thy silver is become dross, thy wine mixed with water: Thy princes are rebellious, and companions of thieves: every one loveth gifts, and followeth after rewards: they judge not the fatherless, neither doth the cause of the widow come unto them. Therefore saith the Lord, the Lord of hosts, the mighty One of Israel, Ah, I will ease me of mine adversaries, and avenge me of mine enemies: And I will turn my hand upon thee, and purely purge away thy dross, and take away all thy tin: And I will restore thy judges as at the first, and thy counsellors as at the beginning."10 There will be some Gideons, Samsons and Samuels to bring full redemption to Zion. Hello Zion! And if you can receive it, ‘anoint the coming King’.
Isaiah speaking in the spirit said, "Keep silence before me, o islands; and let the people renew their strength: let them come near; then let them speak: let us come near together to judgment."
Daniel saw the "ancient of days come, and judgement was given to the saints of the most High; and the time came that the saints possessed the kingdom."11 And Daniel saw the antichrist at work. "And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time. But the judgment shall sit, and they shall take away his dominion, to consume and to destroy it unto the end. And the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the most High, whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey him."12
Satan, your kingdom is coming down!
Jesus said, "Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel."13
"And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations: And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father. And I will give him the morning star."14
"I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star."15
We are, as his overcoming children, to receive the greatest of gifts. Jesus, as the morning star - heaven’s brightest.
He who hath an ear to hear, let him hear.
