John beheld an angel with the key of the bottomless pit (the Greek word AABUSSOS@ which means the deep). The dragon represents the angels which kept not their first estate (principality) but left their own habitation. These are Areserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.@¹ Their king is Apollyon (see Revelation 9:11) which is Greek for Athe destroyer@, an alias for Satan, the original deceiver. He is bound for a thousand years in the deep of outer darkness. His final judgment will be delayed till the thousand year day is fulfilled. Those beheaded and those overcomers which had not worshiped the beast neither his image, nor received his mark, will live and reign with Christ a thousand years. They will be accounted as priests. The second death, or lake of fire, will not touch them. They are blessed and holy as they minister from their place in Jesus, who is the resurrection. These can walk through the fire and not be burned (see Isaiah 43:2). Micah in prophesying of this time said, A in the last days it shall come to pass, that the mountain of the house of the Lord shall be established in the top of the mountains, and it shall be exalted above the hill; and people shall flow unto it. And many nations shall come, and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, and to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for the law shall go forth of Zion, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem. And he shall judge among many people, and rebuke strong nations afar off; and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up a sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more. But they shall sit every man under his vine and under his fig tree; and none shall make them afraid: for the mouth of the Lord of hosts hath spoken it.@²

Zechariah speaking of this day said, Aand it shall come to pass, that in all the land, saith the Lord, two parts therein shall be cut off and die; but the third shall be left therein. And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my people: and they shall say, The Lord is my God.@³

The peace of the thousand year day is shaken as Satan is loosed out of his prison. He quickly deceives the nations who have refilled the earth, as the sand of the sea. Gog, Greek for Acovering@, and Magog, Greek for Aplace of Gog@, with Satan=s influence align themselves against the camp of the saints. The time span of this gathering is called Aa little season@ in Revelation 20:3. A heavenly fire devours these that are deceived. The lake of fire receives the devil who shares torment with the beast and false prophet. This fire, endures as a condition in the earth, since day and night are present. John beheld the great white throne and the one whose face changes the heavens and the earth. The white of the throne signifies the absence of gold. Gold had been the covering that protected the nature of man from the nature of God in the first heaven and the first earth. The blood of the Lamb and His arnion have wiped away the curse of the flesh. The new earth is complete and Jesus reigns.

All vessels of life are to be gathered before this judgment seat to see the result of their works. All bondage represented by death, hell (the grave) and the sea are emptied. All usages of the word Ahell@, which is AHADES@ in the Greek, in the book of Revelation refers to the grave or the state of departed souls. To deliver is to loose from this bondage. Death and hell(the grave) now emptied, are cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. All not found written in the book of life are also cast into this fire. The state of full redemption has come upon God=s creation. Darkness has passed away. The church has reached the light where no darkness abides.

Isaiah had prophesied, Afor, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind. But be ye glad and rejoice for ever in that which I create: for, behold, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy. And I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in my people: and the voice of weeping shall be no more heard in her, nor the voice of crying.@⁴ The new earth of the redeemed will no longer receive the unrighteous or the unclean. War will be forgotten and life will be greatly extended. A child will be a hundred years of age. The sea of the unredeemed will no longer be present. The meek spirit of this realm will not envy or suffer pride or behave itself unseemly. Evil will have passed completely from all thought. The fulfillment of Athy kingdom come, thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven@⁵ will be manifest. All reason for sorrow will pass away as death and pain will cease from memory. The new Jerusalem, extending from the new heaven to the new earth, declares the marriage (union) of God with men. This is the overcomers inheritance: to be one with Jesus is for Him to call you His son. The overcomers goal has not been the glory of heaven, or the joy of earth; just to be with Jesus has been reward enough. His presence is the joy and glory of the meek.

He has lost none that are His. The dragon, the beast and the false prophet make up the fear, unbelief and the abominable. They are the spiritual source of all murders, sorcerers, idolaters, liars and whoremongers. They planted the tares that contaminated the first heaven and the first earth. They have no part in God=s new creation.

The Spiritual Mother - The Lamb=s Wife

And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb=s wife.

John was bid by one of the angel priests to come to a mountain in the spirit and take a closer look at the Lamb=s bride and wife. He beheld the descending Jerusalem, the spiritual Amother of us all@⁶, which cometh from above. This is mount Zion, Athe city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumberable company of angels, To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written (Greek for Aenrolled@) in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of the just men made perfect.@⁷ The city with the light of jasper, clear as crystal and twelve gates, three to a side, with the names of the twelve tribes, reflect the glory of God. This spiritual city, ordained from the foundation of the world, has a wall 144 cubits thick according to the measure of a man. This would be equivalent to two hundred and sixteen feet. The height of twelve thousand furlongs is equal to the length and breadth. Twelve thousand furlongs would be fifteen hundred miles in English measurement. The twelve foundations identified with the apostles of the Lamb, were garnished with all manner of precious stones. The twelve gates were as pearls and they opened to one street, not streets with an As@, made of pure transparent gold. This spiritual city, four square with it=s fifteen hundred miles high ceiling and fifteen hundred mile long walls with one street was built by one builder, His name is JESUS. (See Hebrews 11:10, John 1:3, Psalm 33:6, Ephesians 3:9 and Colossians 1:16)

And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb=s book of life.

John beheld no temple in this city, for the presence of the Lord and the Lamb are the temple. AGod is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.@⁸ No sun or moon is needed for light, the glory of God and the Lamb is the light. The nations of the saved (in the Greek ASOZO@which means Asafe@ and Amade whole@) will walk in the light of it. The kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it. Isaiah had prophesied, Athy gates shall be open continually; they shall not be shut day nor night; that men may bring unto thee the forces (Hebrew for Awealth@) of the Gentiles, and that their kings may be brought. For the nation and kingdom that will not serve thee shall perish; yea, those nations shall be utterly wasted.@⁹ Isaiah was to continue with, Aviolence shall no more be heard in thy land, wasting nor destruction within thy borders; but thou shalt call thy walls Salvation, and thy gates Praise, The sun shall be no more thy light by day; neither for brightness shall the moon give light unto thee: but the Lord shall be unto thee an everlasting light, and thy God thy glory. Thy sun shall no more go down; neither shall thy moon withdraw itself: for the Lord shall be thine everlasting light, and the days of thy mourning shall be ended. Thy people also shall be all righteous: they shall inherit the land for ever, the branch of my planting, the work of my hands, that I may be glorified. A little one shall become a thousand, and a small one a strong nation: I the Lord will hasten it in his time.@¹⁰ God=s welcome mat is still there for all who will honour His name and love His neighbor in truth. Being recorded in the book of life requires knowing the Lamb.

John beheld the pure river of water of life flowing from the union of God and the Lamb. This living water was prophesied by Ezekiel, Aand it shall come to pass, that every thing that liveth, which moveth, whithersoever the rivers shall come, shall live: and there shall be a very great multitude of fish, because these waters shall come thither: for they shall be healed; and ever thing shall live whither the river cometh.@¹¹ Ezekiel continued, Aand by the river upon the bank thereof, on this side and on that side, shall grow all trees for meat, whose leaf shall not fade, neither shall the fruit thereof be consumed: it shall bring forth new fruit according to his months, because their waters they issued out of the sanctuary: and the fruit thereof shall be for meat, and the leaf thereof for medicine.@¹² The water of life has joined the tree of life, producing a fruit which endures forever. All overcomers have access to this garden of God and as they receive they have given. Out of their bellies this river has flowed, filling the earth, bringing healing and eternal life to all nations. The cleansed earth is made new, there is no more curse. His face is their face and His name is their name. All of his family bear his name (see Ephesians 3:15). Zechariah had seen a continuous light, Aand it shall come to pass in that day, that the light shall not be clear (in some places of the world), nor dark (precious).@¹³

Many will not understand the living water nor the light that is with it. As this brightness of the Lord=s presence fills the earth, all darkness that has resided in flesh shall pass away. There will be a consuming of the eyes and the mouths of all people that have fought against Jerusalem. This will cause a great division among people, as this is the dividing of the mountain in Zechariah chapter 14. The consuming fire can only be quenched by reaching for the tree of life. His name is JESUS!

Angels are commissioned to see that the heirs receive all promises. God will fulfill all that He has spoke and directs all His purposes. The devil=s influence was created and used for a season. AI form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the Lord do all these things.@¹⁴ The angelic church of kings and priests are honored to be His ministers. Daniel was told to shut his portion of this vision (see Daniel 8:26), while John was told to keep it open. Conditions of man, whether just or unjust, have no bearing on time. Jesus is the beginning and Jesus is the end. He has come. He is come. And He is yet to come. He has been, and is, and will be, the refuge of all who reach out to Him. As many as received Him, to them He has empowered to become His sons. Every generation has known Him or knows Him or will know Him. The gates are always open to those without. He is the healing of all conditions wherein man has been trapped. All dogs, sorcerers, whoremongers, murderers, idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie will shake off the serpent=s influence into the fire. The brightness of this morning star will testify of total victory.

Jesus bids every hearing ear to come and every hearer to say come and whosoever will, to come and partake of the water of life freely. There is no conditions required and no penalties imposed. JESUS IS COME and He will receive you just as you are. He has never been a respecter of persons. His love is unconditional. He is pouring out His life for all men. AIf any man thirst, let him come unto me and drink.@¹⁵ This drink is spiritual and His life is eternal
